Anne Burrell
Anne W. Burrell was a television personality, a former chef for the Institute of Culinary Education and formerly teaches cooking. She's the host of Secrets of a Restaurant Chef on the Food Network and the co-host of Worst Cooks in America. With her trademark spiky blond hair and bubbly persona Anne Burrell eliminates the intimidation of eating out and offers simple, easy-to-master recipes to the home cook in her Food Network show Secrets of a Restaurant Chef. Chef Burrell has also worked in many of New York's best establishments, studied Italian food and its traditions, and was a contestant on Food Network Iron Chef America. As a youngster in Upstate New York Chef Burrell was attracted by the food. She pursued her passion for food and restaurant by enroling in The Culinary Institute of America following the completion of a bachelor's degree in English and Communications from Canisius College, Buffalo NY.
