Rochon was raised in Torrance. She is the child of Zelma Staples (a nurse practitioner) and Samuel Staples (a businessman and graphic artist). Cerritos High school, Cerritos California is where she graduated from high school in 1982. Her graduation was in 1986 at California State University Dominguez Hill (CSUDH) with a Bachelor's Degree in Broadcast Journalism, minoring in Theatre and Sociology. Rochon was the keynote speaker for CSUDH's College of Arts and Humanities ceremony at the beginning of 2016.

Heather Storm works as a travel writer, television host and producer. A car lover Heather also served as host of Garage Squad at Discovery MotorTrend Network. Heather produces and hosts the travel digital series Drive Yourself Local. She explores America's small towns with a 1965 Ford Mustang. Ullerup appeared as Julia Brynn for the first time on Battlestar Galactica: The Remake, 2006 Sci Fi Channel. In the first two seasons on Sanctuary, she played Ashley Magnus until the character was removed. The fans were furious over her departure, and many would like to see her back in the next shows. The show ended in 2012, but not before a heated debate. Ullerup starred as Bree O'Brien on Chesapeake Shores in the year 2016. Ullerup portrayed Maggie Thomas in Asteroid: Final Impact, the movie which was about the catastrophe of 2015. Ullerup plays the role as Dale Travers, is one of the recurring characters in Hallmark's Signed, Sealed, Delivered and movies from 2016.
